PREVENTION
Even though ageing is a part of life, there are things we can do to protect our skin and prevent it ageing prematurely. Skin ageing is only partly due to genetic factors. Most of the other causes of skin ageing are actually within our control!!
Obviously, it is important to live as healthy a lifestyle as possible. Healthy diets for healthy bodies are the same for healthy, clear complexions. It should consist of the following:
A diet too high in processed food and alcohol can really cause havoc with our skin.
It is really beneficial for our complexion to exercise regularly too, so find an exercise or range of activities that you really enjoy. Exercise benefits our skin by increasing circulation and delivering nutrients to skin cells, and taking away potentially damaging toxins.
